Wednesday night jam and I thought we played better than the previous week and it felt pretty good for much of the night. We had a few guests who stayed, listened and enjoyed, so they helped prop u our spirits and playing. The guests included Ken Levin and his buddy Rob as well as the other Ken who came baring pizza’s for us all.
Thanks to Rich and his recording, we have the setlist below with the MP3s available. for your so-called listening pleasure.

Disproportionate post to actual event magnitude ratio. Not complaining, just saying.

Got lots of posting to to recently, so I had to get it done. Commentary by someone else through the comments wouldn’t hoit.

Rich:
I think the gain on the recording was too high this week, just something to check prior to hitting the little red button next week.

Gind, Nice guzinta Viola Lee
Blues. Felt it coming, but wasn’t sure if you were going to pull the trigger.

I have to agree with all the comments.
This was an outstanding night, with some great song choices played exceptionally well. Many came from our guests whose suggestions helped us think outside the box yet were in synch with the vibe, and others, like Viola Lee/ Bertha seemed to emerge from nowhere, though I suspect theGind had been doing some homework.
I also hear the overmodulation in the recordings, though the levels set before you start are seldom the same as where you are at an hour later, especially with the likes of Viola Lee Blues emerging.
Thanks again to our guests who challenged us to play well, not by being critical, but rather by just digging what we were doing.
