Terez
On June 25, 2002 the Terez experiment with Deadstein began. We started to play with Rich’s friend Therese Byrne. Our singing abilities were limited, she had a desire to learn the music and to put up with us week in and week out. We played loud and she sang softly. Most of the time we were playing in Smash Studios with her but the whole thing culminated in a couple of gigs in 2003 at Tobacco Road just adjacent to the old Carroll’s on 40th Street and 8th Avenue. We started with Dave on drums during this era and ended with Coffee-Boy. The first of the two gig was on June 29, 2003. The last of the gigs was on October 9, 2003. In the end Mini-T, as we affectionately called her, stuck it out till December 2003. We had a great time in the Terez era and Mini-T was always kind and gracious and a pleasure to play with.

Mini-T came back for a couple of “hello boys” jams in 2006 and below is a little weird YouTube tidbit of Terez performed for the return of Mini-T in June 2006 for a jam for old time’s sake. This video was recorded by Trister’s three sheets to the wind friend Jason. Click here to view the web page of that night, we were still blogging at that point, if you can believe it, and in addition, it was a pretty magical night. Lots of love in the room.
